Will I regret not having children when I get older? Will I be lonely?

One thing I hear a lot of from client is a fear that they might be lonely when they get older if they don't have children. A professor at the Open University decided to explore this topic - fascinating!

I ask myself this every day. Trying to decide whether or not my husband and I want to have kids together. I have two step children, and I love them dearly, but I do question if I am missing something? How do I know if the love I feel for them is or is not similar to giving birth to a child? Will this be enough to fulfill me? They live with us full time and I entered their lives at ages 4 and 5. It's just all so confusing ha! Enjoying your blog... going to snoop around and see what advice I can find :)
